Use this index when a named objective or item blocks progress; quest-specific pages are added only when the question has clear player demand and a verified answer.
Current field notes
- Fuse repair: identify the broken system, locate required components, and verify the interaction order.
- Scorch Umbrella: confirm the current quest context before consuming, dropping, or carrying it forward.
Evidence rule
Patch-sensitive steps are dated. A forum answer may identify a lead, but it is not treated as confirmed until it matches official information or repeatable gameplay evidence.
How to use this quest index
Start with the exact objective text, then identify whether the blocker is an item, interaction, prerequisite, or old save. A broad walkthrough can hide the one condition your run is missing. Named quest queries deserve an individual page only when the answer is stable and meaningfully different from the general troubleshooting process.
The four common blocker types
- Item blocker: the required object is missing, held by another player, consumed, or confused with ordinary salvage.
- Interaction blocker: the correct panel, position, order, or host interaction has not registered.
- Prerequisite blocker: a linked objective, room, rescue, or Outpost state is incomplete.
- Save or version blocker: an old demo save or changed quest state conflicts with the launch progression.
Old demo and playtest saves
Quest debugging should begin with the developer's warning that the full release substantially changed quests, balance, and progression. Older saves may load but are not recommended. If a task remains blocked, test whether it reproduces on a fresh save. That step separates current quest design from migrated-state problems and makes a support report much more useful.
Co-op quest troubleshooting
Record who hosts, who carries the item, and who performs the final interaction. Keep the group in the relevant area until the objective updates. If only one player receives progress, do not repeatedly destroy or discard the item; capture the state and test with the host. A clear report should include expected behavior, actual behavior, reproduction steps, role, and approximate time.
Current named-question pages
Fuse repair and the Scorch Umbrella have dedicated first-edition notes because players search those names. They currently emphasize safe verification and troubleshooting where exact, repeatable step evidence is limited. As reliable steps are confirmed, those pages can grow without changing their URLs or mixing unrelated quests together.

Related questions players ask
Why is my GRAIN ROT quest stuck?
Check the exact objective, required item, interaction, prerequisite, host role, and whether the save came from a demo or playtest. Those categories explain more blockers than random interaction attempts.
Do demo quests carry into the full game?
Older saves may load, but the developers recommend starting fresh because quests, balance, and progression changed substantially. Fresh-save reproduction is the preferred troubleshooting baseline.
Can a guest complete the host's quest?
Quest ownership and interaction can depend on session state. Record who hosts, who holds the object, and who performs the interaction; let the host test a failed final step before reporting it.
Where are all GRAIN ROT quest solutions?
This hub lists verified named blockers and links to focused pages. It does not manufacture separate pages for every rumored item; a standalone solution needs stable search demand and repeatable evidence.
